About Us

Welcome to Thoreo Rescues based out of Brooklyn, NY. Our goal is to rescue/TNR/foster and rehome cats and kittens. Our inspiration came from a cold morning walk at 5am with our dog Benji and we came across a sick little black and white tuxedo kitten whom we took into our care and nursed back to health name Thor, nicknamed Thoreo because he's a sweet little Oreo cookie. After his rescue I had been focused on taking in the feral girls I fed, which two of whom have a loving home with me now. With lots of time, love, patience and gentle care, watching the Feral babies turn into domestic house cats is the best feeling in the world and we plan to do the same for many many more!
